Moving to the Pittsburgh area?
When moving to a new city, you can have a lot on your mind: New job, new school, new church, new routines, and last but not least, finding a new place for your family to call "home". At Hanley Agency, Inc., I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When most buyers go into home search mode - they may come up with 50+ listings to consider. It should go without saying that's too many homes to look at if you're on a short visit from out of town! I can help you to narrow your search down to 20-25 properties, keeping these items in mind:
- Before you get here, send me a couple of lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can obviously eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, know your pre-approved amount in advance so we can eliminate homes out of your price range.
- How long of a commute are you ready to make each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the Pittsburgh area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your desired drive-time, and I'll seek out homes accordingly.
I can send you my best recommendations prior to your arrival. Or you might already have some favorite listings you could share with me culled from your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could go to up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
