Moving to the Pittsburgh area?
Moving to a new area is overwhelming by itself, without adding the daunting task of finding a home plus finding a Realtor you can trust. At Hanley Agency, Inc., I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When most buyers go into home search mode - they may wind up with 50+ listings to see. It should go without saying that's too many homes to see first hand if you're on a short visit from out of town! I can help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen properties, with these things in mind:
- Before leaving town, arrange your needs into one list. Then put your wants in another. When a home comes up short on your must-haves, there's no need to even spend time looking at it.
- Have a set price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a safe estimate of how much you'll get from selling your current home.
- How long of a commute are you willing to make each day to work and other interests? Traffic in the Pittsburgh area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so tell me your expected drive-time, and I'll find homes within that radius.
Before we meet in person, I could send you my picks for possible homes. Or if you've already started your search, let me know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are invaluable, there's nothing like touring homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments and map a route. We could go to up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day with the proper planning.
